Student of the Week : Me Museum
The students take this honor very seriously. This is your child’s opportunity to show their leadership skills as well as share things about themselves. Your child will have the opportunity to lead our class during the morning meeting, calendar, and the flag salute. They will also be our classroom line leader as well as take on other responsibilities during the week.
On Monday your child may bring in a few items that they would like to display in our Me Museum for the week. Some examples of what they may bring are: their favorite book, their favorite movie, pictures of their family, artwork they have created and treasures they may have collected while exploring or traveling. (Please help your child find meaningful objects; limiting toys allows for more elaborate questions and conversations between the students.)
The Student of the Week also brings a bouquet of fresh flowers for the classroom.
Thank You,
Mrs. Harper and Mrs. Medeiros
