Welcome to Green Room

Classroom News

It the start of the first full week with actual lit groups, differentiated math/ela lessons, and much more! The work plan will have more work on it than last week, and it will only increase as we go. Please make sure you are checking in with your child on their work load, their in class expectations, etc. Today we passed out a green schedule cad that splits up the P1 and P2 schedule for the kids. It will let them know which days they have PE, which days they have their literature groups, which days they get extra help in the Learning Center, and whether or not they have an extra morning study hall or get to help in a classroom on campus. It will take some getting used to for everyone, and we may have some hiccups along the way, but we are going to figure it out! It's not easy placing 64 kids in the various spots. Mrs. Boothby likes to describe it as playing Jenga on a tightrope that is on fire over a pit of crocodiles. 🤣 Thank you for the generous donations from our Amazon wish list. We were inundated with boxes after school today and look forward to opening the boxes as a teaching team tomorrow morning before school starts.
