Next week:

We have state testing coming up the week of May 4th-8th. It is extremely important that your child is here on those testing dates. Please do not make appointments or come late/pull early on these days!

It is important that your child gets good sleep, has a nutritious breakfast, packs a protein-filled/nutritious snack, and has a healthy and nutritious lunch. Notice the word nutritious that was mentioned multiple times? Please stay away from junk food! If you buy the school lunches, this is a week that you may want to supplement with extra fruits, veggies, or protein. They need all of the brain power they can get to tackle these online tests and to replenish their brains after they have finished the tests for that day.

We know testing can be scary and make people anxious, but we do our best to remind the kids that they are rock stars, they have all of the knowledge necessary already, and that they need to follow a few steps to be successful, and the best tip we have for that is read the entire questions to truly understand what it is asking!

May 7th is Big Day of Giving for our school garden. If you can donate, it would be much appreciated! If you can help out, please contact Mrs. Thomas directly.
