Your child will receive a weekly choice board to complete every week. It is important that all boxes are completed. Math Jobs and Teacher Activity must be completed at school while other tasks can serve as homework.

We will provide daily support at the start of the year to help your child develop strong time management skills, but we want parents checking in with their child daily.

Weekly Assigned Homework Includes:

• Reading passages that are read daily with an adult

• Spelling and vocabulary words to practice. Your child  will be quizzed on the these words every Friday.

• Book Clubs, Studies Weekly, IXL, and Reflex are available for homework as needed.

• Each student should aim for at least 20-30 minutes of studying and/or homework each night along with 20 minutes of reading. Establishing a consistent time and place to study will encourage good habits that benefit your child now and in the future.
