Birthday Celebrations in the Classroom

We love celebrating your child on their special day! If you'd like, you're welcome to send in a small treat for your child to share with their classmates — such as mini cupcakes, mini doughnuts, or cookies.

  • Our class size is 34 students.

  • We do have a few allergies in class, but those students will be provided with fun and safe alternatives by their parents.

If you plan to send in a birthday treat, please email us in advance so we can add it to our schedule and ensure a smooth celebration.

Thank you for helping us make birthdays joyful and inclusive!

Snacks & Water Bottles

Daily Reminders for Your Child:

1. Water Bottle:
Please send your child to school each day with a labeled water bottle. We have refilling stations available throughout the school. While water breaks are offered during every transition, it is your child’s responsibility to have their water bottle filled and ready to go.

2. Morning Snack:
We eat our morning snack as early as 9:30 AM. To help fuel their day, we ask that snacks include a protein-rich option (like cheese, yogurt, or nuts) and a fruit or vegetable. We kindly ask that students avoid chips or cookies first thing in the morning.
Throughout the year, we’ll be working in class on building healthy habits and independence. Eventually, students will be encouraged to pack their own healthy snack.

3. Afternoon Snack (Optional):
Students may bring an extra snack for the afternoon or finish any leftovers from their lunch.

Thank you for helping us support healthy routines at school!
