Monday: Character Education/Monday Morning Mash-up Meeting

 

Tuesday: We will start our morning in the garden. Activities available will be yoga on the stage, journaling or drawing in their garden notebooks and/or tending to the garden. We have PE in the afternoons so this is a day to wear comfortable footwear.

 

Wednesday: Character Education Activity

 

Thursday: We start with a morning run around the park, so please have your child wear appropriate footwear on these days. 

 

Throughout the day the students will have lessons and work time. If they use their time wisely the day's work will most often be completed. Any work not completed for the day, or has corrections it is considered homework. Regular daily homework is not assigned. A work plan is given to the students at the beginning of each day.

 

Fridays -. We will have an extra morning recess and then once inside class, students will work on any incomplete work and or ongoing class projects. This will also be a time for any assessments and/or teacher check-ins/meetings.

Science will begin at 10:30

If work is not complete by Friday they will need to work on it during “Fun Friday”, and will not be able to participate. 

 

 Other activities that can take place on Fun Friday include:

• Open Games and Crafts

• Art docent

• Garden docent

• End of month movie
