Gradekeeper: We will be keeping track of students' work completion using a computer program called Gradekeeper. A missing assignment report will be emailed home on Wednesday afternoon showing all work that should have been completed so far for that week. On Friday a complete grade report will be emailed home for the entire trimester's work completion. Items that need correction will be marked cor, work not turned in for the week will be blank, and work that was not completed by the due date (the following Monday morning) will receive a 0. This information is not a student's grade in class, but just a record of their work.

Reading Groups: All reading group assignments are given out a week ahead of time and students have until their assigned day the following week to complete it for full credit. If the assignment is not complete, turned in a day late, or done poorly the student will only receive partial credit. They have time in class during silent reading to work on this assignment each day.

Participation Points: Every student starts with 3 points each day for a total possible 15 points for the week. We have a star chart in class and each time a student is asked to move their star for not following our class and school values they lose 1 point. Students must have at least 12 points, and all work completed before lunch on Friday afternoon to participate in "FUN FRIDAY".
