Daily Schedule & Work Plan​

Classroom Schedule
Our classroom schedule is generally the same everyday. We start off the day with a morning circle. At morning circle, we listen to stories, go over our daily schedule and occasionally we practice a few minutes of movement and stretching, and continue on our day. The rest of the morning is work time and small group lessons. We will be doing PE 2 times per week this year. Library is a checkout on their own time. Music enrichment is being done this year with the help of Mr. Baldonade and will be on Wednesdays at 8:45 a.m. for 5th graders and 9:15 a.m for 4th graders. All students will have their own ukulele checked out to them to use in music. After lunch we silently read or listen to a teacher read aloud, then have time for large group activities. We have attached our schedule for you to see when we have “lesson” times. Please try to schedule appointments around those times.

Basic Schedule:
8:30 – 12:00: Lessons/Work time
12:00 - 12:50 Lunch/Recess
12:35 – 3:10: Lessons/Work time/Clean-up

Specific Time Schedule:

Monday: 8:45-9:15 Monday Mile

Tuesday & Thursday: 1:15-2:00 PE 

Wednesday 8:45-9:45 two ukulele groups

Friday: 8:30-10:30 Art Docent (once a month)

Friday 8:30-10:30 Garden Docent (once a month)

Electives: Friday afternoons from 2:00-3:00
